On March 23, a meeting with Yanina Dubeykovskaya, an employee of the Russian Cultural Center in Lusaka was held in YuSU. Yanina is one of the initiators of the Preparatory department course for Zambian high school graduates. This course started in January and now 10 Zambian students are studying the Russian language and other disciplines to enter Yugra State University in autumn 2021. Thanks to Yanina Dubeykovskaya and YuSU administration assistance some cultural events were organized (Youth bridges, common holidays celebration) between Zambian students and Russian students of YuSU. They all became friends.

"The meeting was very interesting and informative. We were told about the national multi-colored Kitenge fabric.Zambian friends gave us masks made of this fabric," - said Valery Golovanchuk, a student of  Linguistics.

Yanina said that students from Zambia have immersed themselves in studying Russian and found equivalents to their names and now call themselves as: John-Gosha, Tiongye-Tanya. Also they wrote letters in Russian to their friends and teachers from Khanty-Mansiysk.
