YuSU will host a conference with the participation of foreign specialists "Language. Culture. Communications"

On May 28 and 29 our university will host the I All-Russian scientific conference with international participation “Language. Culture. Communications”. The event will bring together scientists, teachers, students of Russian universities and pupils of Khanty-Mansiysk, as well as invite specialists from Austria, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Belarus, Syria and Uzbekistan.

The participants will present large-scale research in different spheres of humanities - from linguistics and philology to journalism and history. The central theme will be the current problems, challenges and prospects for the development of these disciplines.

The main initiator of the scientific dialog was Olga Khudobina, Head and Associate Professor of the YuSU Higher School of Humanities. According to her, the involvement of international experts will strengthen international ties and develop useful recommendations for practitioners in the field of communications.

“Previously we have organized similar conferences, but this time special attention is paid to the participation of researchers from abroad. Our university actively interacts with representatives of foreign scientific schools, conducts joint research, tries to strengthen international ties and develop cultural dialog. As a result of the conference, we want to develop practical recommendations for professionals who work with communications, for example, in the field of business”, - said Olga Khudobina.

One of the topics of the conference will be discussion of the historical heritage of the Great Patriotic War period. One of the sections will include reports on the fate of Poles and Germans in Uzbekistan and the peculiarities of the Muslim artistic culture of Tyumen during the war years.
In addition, it is planned to discuss the application of artificial intelligence technologies in humanitarian research, game methods of learning English and modern approaches to media literacy.
