On March 20, people around the world celebrate International Francophonie Day—a special day for everyone who speaks or learns French!
To mark this occasion, YuSU hosted its own Francophonie Day, organized by third-year Linguistics students. Participants took part in an exciting quest, where they learned more about the French language and culture, tested their knowledge of pronunciation rules and French proverbs, showed their teamwork and creativity!
A special guest of the event was Traoré Adama, a preparatory course student from Mali, where French is the official language. He shared interesting facts about his country and its culture.
The event ended with awards for the quest winners, and participants had the chance to chat with French speakers and ask questions. Thank you to everyone who joined the celebration!
