Yugra State University hosted the opening ceremony of the renovated training ground.
The commission members, which included the university rector Roman Kuchin and vice-rector Roman Kichanov, highly appreciated the quality of the work performed.
"The University tries to create all necessary conditions for successful learning and development of students. We renovate the infrastructure and equipment, renovate the facilities. In summer we modernised the gym, purchased new equipment. We also work on the third mission of the university - we participate in the development of the region and social environment", - commented Roman Viktorovich.
The selection of equipment and materials was executed in accordance with the standard, which defines competition regulations and equipment requirements. The training ground will be used for gymnastics, volleyball and basketball.
Upon finishing the ceremony, it became known that next year the student basketball team will play in the new league of RZD - "Russian Railway", and the new training ground will serve as a great space for the athletes to train and interact with other national teams.
