Student Festival of native languages and cultures "EthnoStudFest"

The Art Residence of Khanty-Mansiysk hosted the Student Festival of Native Languages and Cultures "EthnoStudFest".

YuSU students - representatives of different nationalities - immersed the festival guests in the world of diverse cultures, told about the customs and traditions of their ethnic groups and even treated them to national dishes.

Russia is a huge multinational country! Each nation has its own history, religion and language. It is important to support the ethno-cultural diversity of our country, strengthen national unity and create a favourable atmosphere for interaction between different ethnic groups.

"Our festival is dedicated to a very important topic and is aimed at harmonising interethnic relations. Students present their native cultures, tell about interesting traditions, holidays and customs. Here are guys not only from different countries of Russia, but also from near and far abroad - countries of Africa, Syria and Egypt", - said the author of the project, associate professor of the Higher School of Humanities of YuSU Lyudmila Andreeva.

It should be reminded that the project became the winner in the competition for the Yugra Governor's grant for individuals 2023.
