The School of International Youth Diplomacy will open at YuSU

YuSU students met with a Russian diplomat, currently YuSU Rector's Advisor for International Affairs Anton Vsevolodovich Vasiliev. It should be noted that Anton Vsevolodovich served three times in the embassies of the USSR and Russia in China, was Deputy Permanent Representative of the Russian Federation to the UN Office and other international organizations in Geneva and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of our country to the Republic of Iceland.

Anton Vasilyev shared his professional experience with the students, spoke about key aspects of diplomatic work and answered questions from the participants. One of the main outcomes of the online meeting was the announcement of the School of International Youth Diplomacy, which will be held in February-March. This is an educational project of second-year students within the framework of the discipline “Project Activities”. The program of the School will include lectures and master classes of experts, business games and practical classes, participation in international events of the university. The events will be held every week, announcements can be found in the community “YuSU International” in Vkontakte and Telegram.

Students who attended at least 80% of the classes will receive a certificate of participation. Graduates of the school will have advantages when applying for academic mobility programs. They will have the opportunity to participate in international events of the university, to represent the university at international exhibitions and conferences. We would like to add that the YuSU Rector's Advisor for International Affairs supported the students' initiative.
