YuSU Master's student became a patent holder

Aikhanum Gadzhieva, a master's student of the Higher Oil School of Yugra State University and resident of Yugra Technopark, registered a patent for a useful model "Single-use cell for analysing liquids by infrared spectroscopy". The patent was registered by the Federal Service for Intellectual Property.

The patent holder is Aikhanum Hajiyeva, General Director of Spectroil LLC, a Technopark resident company. The authors of the patent together with Aikhanum are a team of Ugra scientists: Sergey Nehoroshev, Marina Lyutikova, Daria Nehorosheva, Valeria Muratova and Pavel Semenyuk.

"Potential customers of the IR spectrometric analyser are power producers and suppliers, laboratories of power companies for whom it is important to control the quality of transformer oil. Constant monitoring will ensure reliable operation of oil-filled high-voltage electrical equipment," said Aikhanum.

The project of Spectroil LLC has already earned high praise from the V.I. Shpilman Scientific and Analytical Centre for Rational Subsoil Use, a branch of PJSC ROSSETI, Yamalo-Nenets Trunk Power Grid Company.

We would like to remind you that in 2023, Aikhanum won the Technology Startup Accelerator in Yugra and received a grant of 2 million RUB to implement a project to develop an IR analyser for transformer oil quality. The Yugra State University master's student is also a winner of the UMNIK grant programme of the Innovation Promotion Foundation.
