Master student of Yugra State University Gamzat Sirazhudinov became the winner of the international tournament in mixed martial arts from the Open FC league, where he defeated his opponent Timur Aydemirov with a choke. The competition was held on August 23 in Samara at the MTL Arena and brought together famous fighters from Russia, Brazil, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan.
OPEN FC is a professional league in mixed martial arts, whose tournaments are held in several countries and bring together thousands of fighters in different weight categories.
Gamzat noted that the fight was not easy due to the increased duration of the rounds and the lack of protective equipment. However, he emphasized that he was ready for these challenges and was glad that he was able to finish the fight ahead of schedule.
Gamzat's opponent, Timur Aydemirov, was a fairly experienced fighter with ten fights under his belt, half of which he won. According to Gamzat, they were looking for his opponent for two months, and just twenty days before the tournament, Timur agreed to enter the ring against him.
“I expected a good fight from him, but I planned to finish the fight exactly as it happened,” the fighter from Yugra added.
Note that this was Gamzat’s first debut fight among professionals.
We congratulate him on his victory and wish him good luck in the upcoming tournaments!
