YuSU Student Spring 2025

One of the brightest and largest events - Student Spring 2025 - has finished at YuSU.

Our students started preparing several months ago to impress everyone with their performances. They went through nights of no sleep, long rehearsals, preparation of characters, some of them had to dance, although they had never done it before. And the result, of course, justified all the efforts.

The year 2025 was declared by Russian President Vladimir Putin as the Year of the Defender of the Fatherland, becoming a benchmark for many cultural and creative events. Student Spring is no exception: this year its theme was imbued with the spirit of patriotism and respect for the memory of the Great Patriotic War. This event was an opportunity to remember and honor the exploits of the defenders of the Motherland, which gives special significance to this event.

The program included several directions, thanks to which, students were able to express themselves in all areas of creativity. In total, 3 student programs and 25 numbers were presented. Vocal, dance, original genre, theater performances - all this became a real holiday not only for students, but also for all the audience.

Speaking of the audience, the hall was full. Tickets were sold out in a matter of hours. Support is the best and the most important thing that can be at such events. Therefore, posters, shouting, whistles - all this was also there.

As the organizers themselves say, it is quite hard work, and it is not easy to organize such an event, but it is worth it. Diana Akchurina, a leading specialist of the Center for Image Projects and Events, shares her impressions: “From the outside everything seems easy: book the hall, collect lists of participants, review the numbers, but in fact there are a lot of pitfalls. Sometimes we forget someone, we have to think over every little detail: what will be on the screen, how to give sound recordings to sound engineers, to determine how much time we need for the contest. It's hard, but the impressions remain for a long time.

One of the bright and large-scale directions is the Student Program. The participants had to immerse themselves in the history of the Great Patriotic War. Many war songs and monologues were performed, which left a trace in the hearts of the audience.

But there was only one Grand Prix and its winner was the program “And what will be tomorrow?”. Ksenia Malinina, a 2nd year student of “Journalism” told us what the taste of victory is: “It is very bright, long-awaited and justified. Our team was helped to win by cohesion, faith, hope and love for what we do”.

The creative energy of students, their passion and desire for self-expression once again confirmed that the younger generation is capable of cherishing the past. Student Spring gave all participants to plunge into the atmosphere of creativity and patriotism, which will certainly remain in the history of the university.
