YuSU students took part in the XI International Finno-Ugric Student Forum “The Wealth of Finno-Ugric Peoples” in the city of Yoshkar-Ola, the Republic of Mari El.
2nd year students Vladislava Parsho, direction “Informatics and Computer Science”, and Nikita Taskaev, direction “Journalism”, took the 3rd place with the report “The role of ethno-journalism in preserving the traditions of indigenous peoples of the North”.
"I did not expect that our such an exciting, informative and most importantly, productive trip could take place as a result of the course ‘Solutions of Applied Production Problems’. The event was large-scale, with a grand opening and the work of different sections and round tables, and the cultural program with a tour of the city “Night Yoshkar-Ola” and a visit to the Sheremetev Castle left only good memories and a bunch of new acquaintances. Special thanks to our supervisor - Tatiana Dyatlova, who has been working with us for a whole year", - shared Nikita Taskaev, the Forum diploma holder.
For all participants, the Forum was a great opportunity to demonstrate their research work, exchange experience and expand their knowledge.
And we congratulate our students on their worthy performance!
