YuSU attended the International Exhibition "Innoprom. Central Asia"

New developments, postgraduate internships and promising co-operation. YuSU personnel takes part in the International Industrial Exhibition "INNOPROM. Central Asia". It is held these days in Tashkent for the fourth time. Delegations from several dozen countries, including Russia, Belarus, China and Turkey, have gathered in the capital of Uzbekistan. The event was attended by heads of authorities, business and associations from all Central Asian countries. Yugra's scientific community was represented in the official delegation by Maxim Korolev and Dmitry Korneev, head and associate professor of the Higher Oil School of Yugra State University.

"The okrug has a large exhibition stand where we present our developments - oilfield chemistry compositions, oil recovery enhancement compositions, drilling muds, surfactants (surfactants) developed at the university. We also presented technologies of oil recovery enhancement, drilling wells in complicated conditions. We also brought a new developed carbon material - a coating based on high-molecular compounds," Maxim Korolev said.

YuSU scientists took part in a meeting with the Deputy Minister of Energy of Uzbekistan, where, in particular, they considered ways of interaction and cooperation, signing agreements between our region and Uzbekistan or local district. The university staff also visited the scientific centre of Uzbekistan - Institute of Geology and Exploration of Oil and Gas Fields, where they discussed cooperation with YSU in issues of science and education, writing scientific articles, training of top-level personnel, joint exchange, internships for students and postgraduates. The meeting with representatives of Uzbekneftegaz was also productive.

It should be noted that the International Industrial Exhibition "INNOPROM. Central Asia", which took place from 22 to 24 April, gathered more than 10 thousand visitors and became a meeting place for representatives of business circles from Russia and Asia. The main topics of the business programme included the development of industrial infrastructure, innovations in the transport sector, the use of new materials in industry, as well as the traditional agenda of interregional cooperation, digitalisation of industry and innovations in the energy sector.
