YuSU expands inter-university cooperation

Yugra State University and L.N. Gumilev Eurasian National University (Republic of Kazakhstan) have agreed on a network form of implementation of joint educational program.

This preliminary decision was made at the Round Table "Implementation of joint educational programmes: Russia-Kazakhstan". The participants of the event summed up the results of preparatory work on the launching of a joint educational master’s program "Natural Resources Management" in the direction of training " Environmental Management" with the use of the network form.

Tatyana Kostyleva, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of YuSU, outlined new opportunities for students to study in the format of two-diploma programs.

Rumiya Tazitdinovna, Head of the Department of "Management and Engineering in Environmental Protection" of L.N. Gumilev Eurasian National University, in her turn noted new prospects for academic mobility of students and teachers within the program.

It should be noted that the Yugra State University and L.N. Gumilev Eurasian National University have already established long-standing partnership relations in the field of education and scientific research. The parties cooperate with each other in the following areas:

- academic exchange of students and teachers;

- elaboration of joint educational programs at the undergraduate and graduate levels;

- conducting joint scientific and scientific-technical research;

- holding joint conferences, symposia and round tables, etc.
