Kirill Zagaykevich, a student of the YuSU Higher Oil School, took the 4th place in the annual rating of the top 1000 university startups. The rating was published by the University Technological Entrepreneurship Platform. This is a federal project launched by the Ministry of Education and Science in 2022 to support and develop tech entrepreneurship and create high-tech startups in the country.
Kirill Zagaykevich, CEO of Nevitech and a resident of the Technopark of High Technologies of Yugra, was awarded a high place for the development of a VR training simulator for students and employees of oil and gas field companies in the “Digital Technologies” technological direction. This is a virtual reality-based software that accurately depicts all professional tasks, equipment and requirements of the profession. The simulator can be used for student training, professional development and recertification of oil and gas company employees. MVP was created two years ago.
"The education and training sector is one of the potential markets for VR simulators in Russia: VR technologies can significantly improve the learning process. The market of simulators for the oil and gas industry is also a promising and fast-growing segment," Kirill comments.
This year the company plans to open its own training site “Center for Youth Innovation Creativity” in Khanty-Mansiysk. The pilot launch of the development has been realized in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk State University - a virtual reality class has been opened. In the next 10 years the company intends to implement a number of training simulators for five large factories and other enterprises, to create two large virtual platforms, to implement training courses for children on programming and work in VR environment and Godot engine development environment with subsequent employment of outstanding students, to form a base of VR career guidance programs for young people on the basis of secondary education in Yugra, as well as to enter the market of the UAE, Iran and China.
