The mission of the finalists of the international contest “Volunteer Movement ”For Russian!“” in Tajikistan has been finished. During a month the winner Ekaterina Vasilieva, a student of the Higher School of Humanities of YuSU, practiced in educational institutions of Dushanbe.
In her practice the young philologist used different formats: from traditional lectures and lessons to quizzes and master classes. A separate experience was teaching at a school for Afghan refugee children, most of whom do not speak Russian.
Ekaterina noted that the internship in Dushanbe with speakers of another language brought her closer to her dream of teaching “Russian as a foreign language,” because she saw how much her work is needed.
“The Russian language is in demand in Tajikistan, volunteers like us, professional teachers, joint projects and internships can help,” the YuSU student believes.
We would like to add that the volunteer movement “For Russian!” is realized under the guidance of Rossotrudnichestvo and Lobachevsky Nizhny Novgorod State University.
